Singer-songwriter Manuel Lopes Andrade, a.k.a. Tchéka, is currently touring France in support of his third album entitled “Lonji” (faraway), produced by Brazilian singer/guitarist Lenine.
On July 15th, Tchéka will perform in Mougins, a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. The following day, he is scheduled to appear at Le Pradet, a charming Var coastal resort along the coast.
On 7/17th, Tchéka will continue his journey along the coast of France with appearances at the Six Fours, followed by Tourves on 7/18th, Savines on 7/19th, Montricher-Albanne on 7/21st, Courchevel on 7/22nd, Hauteluce on 7/23rd, Megève on 7/24th, and Yvoire on 7/24th.
Tchéka, the first Capeverdean artist to win the RFI (Radio France International) Music of the World Awards, will be accompanied by Lucio (bass) and Marcos (percussions).
Born in Ribeira da Barca (interior of Santiago), Cape Verde, Tchéka previously released albums such as “Argui” (2003) and “Nu Monda” (2005). In 2006, he became the first Capeverdean artist to win the RFI (Radio France) Music of the World Awards.
